LukeFest

LukeFest 2011 was a great success! Thanks goes out to everyone involved!

Luke Delaney Glen Cockey was an extraordinary young man.  Luke, translated, means “giver of light.”  Luke did just that; he warmed conversations, was generous and giving, and he loved and cherished his family and friends.  He will be remembered for many things: his humor, love for the outdoors, sensitivity, athletic ability, craftsmanship, the way he would light up a room when he walked in, and his infectious laugh.

Luke was taken from us suddenly.  Even though he had experienced some recovery in his young life, his search for long term recovery has now ended.  There are few families that are not touched by the disease of addiction.  Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of many.  The Luke Cockey Endowment/Scholarship Fund will be a lasting legacy of his generous spirit.

Luke was 23 years old when he died.  His commitment to organ donation gave the gift of life to many.  We can honor his memory by helping others in his name.
